Moldex3D Flow/Pack/Cool/Warp (Anisotropic)
Properties needed to perform a Moldex3D full module analysis (injection-molding filling/packing/cooling/warping simulation) are generated. These include viscosity vs. shear rate at three temperatures (two in the processing range and one below); thermal properties and pvT data. Additionally, elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient are measured in two directions; Poisson’s ratio and in-plane shear modulus. Viscosity data are fit to Cross-WLF Model and PVT data are fit to the Modified Tait Model.

In addition to the information obtained from Flow/Pack/Cool analysis, Moldex3D Warp predicts the deformed shape and linear shrinkage of the part, estimates sink marks distribution, and calculates parts shrinkage and warpage.
